Probably not. They just don't have enough talent or depth. THey are an improved team and credit has to go to Ted Nolan for getting the most out of his team. But as long as wacky Charles Wang is the owner, the Islanders will be a bad team. You have no chance of doing anything good if you make the backup goalie the team's general manager and then give an over-rated goalie a 15-year contract!

extremely no longer. once you play for Lou you do not basically lie down. He basically fired his coach a week in the previous the playoffs because he didnt imagine the team become prepared for the playoffs. Do you practice for the playoffs that way? Secondly, it truly is no longer like the Devils have any love for both team, and all athletes have an undesirable lot of delight and respectable assisting of ego. you're literally not making it to the ranks of the NHL without that style of attitude. you also chance damage by way of no longer taking section in the game real. You get lazy and sloppy. and ultimately no matter if Brodeur doesn't commence, Clemenson fairly a lot by no ability performs, do you imagine for 5 seconds that he's gonna mail it in on a uncommon commence?

Theres a chance but really doubted. The goaltending is avg and Dipietro is overated.Defense is weak and fwds are avg.Yashin,Kozlov, and Satan are good players but are inconsistent on most nights. They will probably be ninth or tenth. The other NY area team Rangers and Devils will make it.

They have a better chance then some of these other teams playing crappy, but who knows, anything could change, the season still has a good way to go.

Over my dead body!!

But in reality, there is still 1/2 a season left so it's still too early to determine... Hey, even the Flyers still have a chance to make it.
