Does anyone know how much a cosmetics associate would get paid at Macy's?

My wife has an interview for a position to work in the cosmetics department at a st. louis area macy's. Does anyone out there have any knowledge about the typical hourly rate typically paid for these positions??? I would appreciate any relevant information.

I live in Northern California and the pay is decent for the city that I live in. The cosmetics associates that I know of that work at Macy's, base their 'pay rate' on the commission they make and not their hourly wage. From my knowledge, they make $8-$9/hr depending on experience. The commission is what counts, as I've previously stated. Women can spends hundreds of dollars on cosmetics in one day, so as long as she is good in sales, she should have no problem. Good luck with her job interview!
