my friends told me that girls dont like light girls

You ask a simple question that has a complex answer. Some light skinned girls are taught or told they are better, or think they are because they are treated better, this is true, but it is not true of all, or even most. However, some light skinned girls are treated badly by darker skinned girls, because they think the light skinned girl either is treated better or thinks she is better (whether she does or not).
This can lead to one of two strategies by the lighter skinned girl; she can either become angry and resentful towards darker skinned girls, and act as if she were "better", or she will try the opposite approach and try and be as much like that peer group as possible, to prove she is "down".
So if your friends say this to you, think for just a minute how they would treat you if you had lighter skin (I assume you and your friends are darker, forgive me if I am incorrect). If they assumed you thought you were better, and ignored you or insulted you, how would you react?
The lesson is, just treat someone else how you want to be treated, and don't judge someone who you don't really know.

Is not that they hate them, is just that darker girls tend to dislike girls who are light skinned because girls who are light skinned think they are better or more beautiful. Not all, some.

It would be a shame that anyone would judge anyone else by the color of their skin, don't women and girls have enough problems without adding that to their daily lives?

it isent "light girls", its "girls", some of which happen to be light.
generalizing is frickin rediculus and childish.

thats stupid...my best friend from 3rd grade is darker then me and im ligther and weve been friends ever since...plus i work with alot of other girls who are darker and we get along just fine

while dark black girls are teased by light black girls
light black girls are sometimes stuck-up and think are they are better than everyone
dark black girls are haters
while light black girls are stuck-up
