The book is about a senior girl in high school. She's an average student, but soon falls in love with her new Language Arts/English teacher. He is 30 while she is 17. They truly begin to have a close relationship--after she gets over her trivial antagonism for him. Unbeknownst to her, her best guy friend has been in love with her since tenth grade. He tries to sabotage her relationship with her teacher. In the end, however, he accidentally confesses to his actions. The girl goes on to college, but remains in contact with her teacher.
If it helps, the girl's name is Carmen and the teacher's name is Mr. Clarke. The story is humorous and aimed towards young adults, so I wanted a title to reflect the humor. And maybe something unique, because most of the young adult titles out there are alike.
I've been thinking about a title, but everything I came up with was kind of stupid. Help, please! Thank you.

i think (Carmen and Clark) will reflect humour and innocent romanticism in the same time like (kate and Leopold). here are other suggestions:

"The Forbidden" would be a good title, but the story smacks of child porn, statutory rape, etc. and is not a good YA book. In fact, if my daughter read it, I would be quite unhappy.
In today's atmosphere I would say do a re-write on this or burn it. I happen to work in publishing and would not touch this with a ten foot pole. It is wrong.

as the teacher is connected with ancient history, maybe think of something along the lines of ancient Greece, their marble statues, white temples with columns, the toga like clothing etc.? nothing particular comes to my mind but I hope this will give you some inspiration.
