I'm sick of these stupid attempts at provocative questions posting fake situations.

I certainly understand your concern and this is a matter that you should not dismiss simply because he is a popular and well-liked teacher. At this point we do not know if he molests children however, it does not mean that you should not be cautious at all times when in his presence. Alert you mom and dad---so they will be aware of his actions that are somewhat disturbing to you and believe me you are the only one that matters. If you say the behavior is disturbing to you then it is---don't allow anyone to downplay it or make it seem trivial. Always go with your first instinct.

With all of the news reports informing us about teacher/student intimate relationships I find your teacher's behavior worth mentioning to your counselor and principle as well. In other words---don't stop until you find an adult that will listen and take you seriously. You've taken a very big step in writing about it now. Don't hide the behavior especially if it happens again.

u know what... dont tell any1 just yet.
wait for a while before doing anything serious like telling on sum1 for being a child molester. wait for a while and see how he acts. just make sure u don't stay alone iin the same room..;P because if he never done anything like that in the past years, maybe he was just in a good mood or sumthin like that.
we have the same thing in our school, about our 23 year old gym teacher that likes to look down girls shirts, but thats just the way he is.
so dont do anything yet, watch him first.

There's actually 2 parts to this question, part one, was his touch inappropriate? If he didn't touch your privates, then the touch could be deemed appropriate. The 2nd question is more important to your experience. Was the touch invited? How did you feel when touched? If you are not comfortable with the touch, you have every right to tell him you're not comfortable and ask him not to touch you. Then if he touches after you have asked him not to, you have a valid complaint to take to the school administration, or even the police. My suggestion would be to not allow yourself to be alone with this person, to always have a witness present. If you ask him not to touch you, make sure there is a witness. And if he touches you after that, make sure there is a witness, hopefully the same witness.

I worked in group homes for abused and neglected children. Part of the treatment program in one home was giving back rubs. However these back rubs were given with permission and with respect and love. In this way it was a caring, healing touch. But there are also touches that make one feel violated. It's how you feel about being touched that counts, and you get to determine whether you want to be touched or not. If you don't feel comfortable with it, then speak up. Ask that person not to touch you.

Well, uh, first of all: It depends how he did it. If he did it in front of everyone, then that means he has nothing to hide and it was only a gesture of encouragement to share a closeness with you or the person involved in the situation. NOT ALL TEACHERS WANT TO SCREW THEIR STUDENTS. But then again, if he did it in a way where the child felt uncomfortable then they need to report him, because he could be a BIG PERVERT. But be sure, because if you aren't you could end up bringing down a good man and teacher. Check around, see if other students feel the same way, and see if he does it to anyone else, and see if they feel the same way. I had a teacher like that at my school, he used to always breath over my neck, touch me in any way he could and every chance he got. And say that he wanted to "tutor" me after school privately, you think I went. HELL NO! One day when he didn't come to school, me and one of my fellow classmates were talking about him, and she said that she thought he was a pervert as well. After her, more girls kept saying the same thing, and that he kept inviting them after school for tutoring. This scared me........instead of reporting him, I just started coming so late that I would miss his class(which was first period) so I wouldn't have to deal with him. After I kept seeing him eyeing me from every direction when I would walk from each class, I decided he wasn't worth a grade. I barely did work and I still passed his class, because of my looks. So yah.................BE SURE, IF HE'S LIKE THIS REPORT HIM!!!!!!!!!

Sounds a little funky to me. Isn't it against the rules for a teacher to physically touch the students. Beware of this person, give him the benefit of the doubt for now but if he pulls anymore funny stuff, you should tell somebody, your parents or a counselor. You probably aren't the only one.

Um, if it made you uncomfortable you should have the courage to tell him or tell another teacher. Or else if you are too nervous to do that, just wait and if he does it again you gotta tell somebody. I know its hard and Ive been in that situation but you just got to do it. Its important for them to understand their boundaries. Because teachers shouldnt be doing that. Maybe he doesnt even know it bothered you. You never know.

Good luck

No matter how great the teacher may be you should still tell someone. If you made you feel uncomfortable i would consider it sexual harrassment and you should report it no matter what. Personally if a teacher touched me at all i'd tell.

Please tell your parents immediately. This is not acceptable behaviour at all!! If you can't talk to your parents go to the guidance counsellor. That person WILL Care whether they like the teacher or not. If you don't get the help you need with these options, call the police.

Tell the principal and your parents and let them work it out. If he is a pervert and you do not say anything, others could get hurt worse. Think about it.
