For me:
(1) Texas is the top choice, followed by Tennessee, North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Oregon, Hawaii, Wyoming, and Washington state.
(2) Most of the I-95 corridor (from Virginia/West Virginia northward,) Ohio, Kentucky, Florida, Chicago, Michigan, California's medium and large cities, Albuquerque.

pizza_gage: I've lived very near Frankfort, KY for a long time. It's a terrible, run-down place, believe me! Tyler, TX, in my opinion, isn't so bad, though.

I would like to live in Kansas! I not sure why, but you never here anything about them, they're a very quiet state, and I like that! Or maybe Rhode Island! They seem calm also......
I would not like to live in California. It just seems so violent and crowded! I like my space.....like Kansas!
