It's possible as you could still have ovulated. It is very possible to ovulate, and not have a period. The only way to know for sure would be to see your doctor for a blood test as this is the most accurate way of testing.

it depends on your age, as when you are just starting your cycles at 12-13 years of age most girls first five periods are anovulatory meaning they haven't ovulated yet, but in some rare cases young girls have been able to get pregnant if it was shortly around the time they have ovulated the first time. if you want to be safe check with your doctor and take a pregnancy test as there are other conditions that can mimic pregnancy, though it is highly unlikelly for most girls to get pregnant right when they reach puberty.

I have heard of one case a few years back where a 12 year old female became pregnant prior to her first period. Its likely that ovulation had started and maybe happening for a few months, but she had not noticed and had very light flow. Its extremely rare though.

PS - Have your partner wear a condom!!!

Technically, you can get pregnant on your very first cycle. Your "period" is the sloughing of the uterine walls after an unsuccessful cycle where the egg does not get fertilized by a sperm.

Without getting into a moral discussion about premarital sex, if you are sexually active, you should always practice safe sex. Not only to prevent pregnancy, but also prevention of sexually transmitted diseases.

no.
but it is possible if you had sex just exactly as your first period was going to start and it never happened because you got pregnant the first time you ovulated.
But that is so unlikely I wouldn't even consider it.

i think, that it is. the timeing would have to be just right but if it is, and its not unheard of to be, i think you can. you've got to ovulate before you get your period, and if you had sex while you were ovulating before your first one, then yes i do think you could be. i'd definatly say to go to the dr or gyno just to double check and make sure.

Yes, I think it would be possible if you had sex and got pregrant just before you started menstruating the first time.
