Here's how you figure your GPA. Take your grade for a course and convert it to points. Multiple those points by the number of credits the class was worth. Add up all the points from all your classes. Divide that number by the total number of credits you took. Here's an example.

Course____Grade__ Points_ Credits_ Total
HLED1225__(B )___3.0 ____ 2______ 6.0
ENGL1010__(B+)__3.3 ____ 3______ 9.9
MATH1050__(A-)___3.7 ____ 3_____ 11.1
BIOL1010___(B )___ 3.0____ 4_____ 12.0
HIST1110___(C )___ 2.0____ 3_____ 6.0

Total=15credits and 45 points

45 points divided by 15 credits equals a 3.0 GPA

The grading scale varies widely from school to school, and in some cases like where I work, from department to department.

For example, in the accounting department at one school, that 94% would be a 3.6, while in the same department at another school, it's a 3.8.

But in the math department, that 94% is only a 3.5.

My high school says A-, A, A+=4.0, B-, B, B+= 3.0, C-, C, C+=2.0, D-, D, D+=1.0. Acept AP classes that are 1point higher. Then the GPA from each of the classes is avaraged. It really depends on the school because they all work differently.

A 94% is an A so that would be a 4.0 GPA.

if it is a 94 on a 100 GPA scale, then it would be equivalent to a 3.76 on a 4.0 scale.

That SHOULD be a 4.0 unless your school gives an A only after you hit 95%. Normally, an A is 91% and over.

4 pts. for an A; 3 pts. for a B; 2 pts. for a C; a million pt. for a D, and not something for a failing grade. So a 2.ninety 4 is a "B," and it kinda shows you have generally B's, an occasional C, and not as many A's to stability it out.

it all depends on if your school accounts for A A-, B+ B, B- ect... also depends if there is any weight, but it should be right around a 3.6 closer to a 3.7

I think so, around 3.5 or 3.6.
