With nothing connected, my monitor says no connection. When i plug in my computer to my monitor and boot up, the monitor says "no signal" and goes to sleep. I was fooling with some stuff inside of my desktop (removed the floppy drive, old cr-rom, and old sound card), does anyone have an idea of what i did wrong?

I tried removing the battery but it didn't work. Im not using my video card anymore either. Im trying to connect directly to the motherboard.
