Nintendo DS WiFi Router?

Does the WiFi router for Wii and DS work for PSP and laptops? And if so what is the range. P.S. I have a PSP (internet) and a Wii (virtual console) , my dad wants a WiFi router for his laptop (work). Please help.

Most routers coming out now are at least 802.11G and B compatible. And that is what you need to Wii, DS, PSP, and Laptops. Their range varies and it depends on walls and floors of their location. For the most part you are going to be fine if you are not more than half a block away from the router.
