No criticism. But, if you ever plan on not being a loner, you will have a hard time making new friends and being social. The truth is, most people like being talked to and talking. So dont make a big deal out of it, just talk with people when theres nothing else to do. Get some friends who are like you. If youre a loser, than get some other loser friends. Just get some

You learn to become self sufficient. You embrace the beauty of independence. You become comfortable with yourself. Often, you discover what you really want out of life. When there is no one else to influence you in personal matters, you can clearly see what is important to YOU! You can eat Fruit Loops for dinner, and no one gripes. You can buy cheap toilet paper, and no one cares. You can turn the AC on as cold as you please, and no one complains. You don't have to fight anyone for the remote control. If you put the scissors in the top drawer, guess what? They will still be there when you need them again!!! Sometimes being alone is a WONDERFUL thing!

I personally thing being a loner is not such a bad thing...You don't have anyone to answer too and you are own person. As long as you know how to act in society and you don't keep yourself locked up..Being a loner makes you stronger and more at peace with yourself

Peace and quiet all the time IF you want.
You don't have to deal with whiney A$S people.
You have the confidence to go your own way in many aspect of life such as financial, religion, and career.
Being a loner has been good for me.

Hmm... hard to say. It's nice to not have to answer to anyone, no peer pressure (kind of); you have space to yourself. It's quiet when you want it to be and you can make your own decisions. You don't have tons of voices inside (and outside) of your head telling you to do things you might not want to do.
But unless you like being alone most of the time and don't mind being shunned, I highly dissuade you from being one (and hope you're just curious as you say), since I'm having a hard time at school right now because of it.

you get to know yourself better. you are free from insecurities and competition. you get to depend on yourself.
it's easier to find REAL friends if you're a loner. if a person doesn't turn out to be real good, then you just go back to being alone the way you used to be. you don't hang out with jerks just because you are desperate enough to have friends.

The quiet to read or think. The safety to relax. The freedom to save secrets and ambitions. The inner space to move.

You avoid "group think", you avoid all of that crappy gossip that comes with being in a large friendship group, you have lots of "me" time, and you do not have to feel obligated to go to so and so's bday bash.
