I didnt vote for him EITHER time. I prefer to elect people who know how to run businesses successfully. Im also not into electing coked-out drunks who dont have two good ideas to rub together.

But thats just me.

Your question totally cracks me up. My question to you is GET OUT OF THE PAST. If this country would have a vision and look forward and try to accomplish something, LIKE WHAT W IS DOING, we would not be having all these bs problems we have got. All I hear is did you vote for Bush, he rigged the election, this is Bushs war not ours, GIVE IT A BREAK. If this country would come together and start acting like grown ups and not 2 year olds this country would be an absolutely great place to live and not have all this stupid bickering over ridiculous things. I bet I listened to the Dems complain about illegal wiring tapping for 2 months, guess what they were doing the same thing Clinton did for 8 years, who cares. If the media would not come out and exploit all this garbage to us, you would never know all this BS that goes on that is just trivial crap anyways! So here we are 2 years after Bush is in his second term asking why did you vote for Bush? Try this one on for size and have some vision and wisdom America. What can this country do to WIN the war in Iraq in the next year! Make it happen!

I didn't vote for him on either election. I voted against him.

His views on the budget (for the first election) made it clear to me that he is not an honest person (too dishonest to be more accurate) or that he is being misled by dishonest staff. Either way, he is not the one.

Every man and woman in the US who pay taxes every year pay about $2000 extra just to pay the interest on the national debt. That is every year. If we didn't have such a large national debt, our federal tax bill for each and every taxpaying American would have been about $2000 less each and every year. ($300 billion per year on interest debt divided by 150 million taxpayers gives you $2000 per taxpayer.)

Trying to tell me that getting back $300 one time would make things better was complete non-sense. I would rather get back $2000 every year than a mere $300 once.

That $2000 would have meant that I and many other Americans would be spending alot more, fueling the economy, every year -- a basic modern Republican philosophy. The more money you have, the more you spend, the better the economy, the more tax revenues come in because of the great economy, the more the government can spend. All that would be possible if we didn't have such a huge debt and large record-breaking deficit.

So ... I didn't vote for him on that since I am a Republican. It went downhill from there. The debt is even worse than before and the deficit is far worse.

You ask a good question, and I think you deserve a good answer.
I voted for President Bush, because we need a leader that will stand up for principal and not cower in time of pressure. The American people always complain about not having a leader as president, then we get one elected who is a strong, leader then the doubters and name callers object. I happen to be a Korean combat veteran, and I know for a fact, I would much rather see our troops over seas rather than here on our shores fighting a battle.
The fighting in the middle east, is and was unevitable, it was only a matter of time.
I also believe we have only begun to scratch the surface on what is to come. I would suggest to all those who read this, take heed, and hope and pray, the conflict does not come to us.
Bottom line: Be thankful that you have a President who sill stand up and not give up against great odds.
Blessings to all.

I think the reason Bush was elected the 2nd time was because for most people it is better to disagree with a person's position over an important issue than to agree with another candidate who just said the opposite of what Bush said but didn't have any real ideas of his own for leading the country.

So yes, for some liberals or moderates, electing Bush the 2nd time was picking the lesser of 2 evils.

I personally agree with many of Bush's beliefs and policies, but not as much with his execution of them, like in Iraq.

Did you look at the IDIOT the democrats offered up to compete with him for the office? By definition of a politician they tell 1/2 truths at best in every country. I have no idea which country you come from, but it is likely your leaders attempt to sway you to their version of the truth by spinning facts.

If the Iraqis want the coalition out of their country, the actions they should take is very simple. Have peace break out in the entire country. With about a year of peace, the locals would consider the area worth investing in, because their government is in control. They might even come to the conclusion that the people that were doing the killing wanted a civil war to happen more than they wanted Iraqis to show what they could do charting their own destiny.

It is time for the Iraqis to show they have out grown tribalism. That they don't need to be stuck at the time of the end of the movie Lawrence of Arabia. Live up to what Lawrence saw in his followers.

First of all, name one lie. Secondly, I would vote for him again. He's a true American, puts God, family and Country first in his life. He's trying and that's all any president can do. If Saddam were still in power, thousands more Iraqi's would have been slaughtered. Bush is one, among few nowadays, that won't back down and won't bring disdain to the American people.

I didn't vote for him either time...and by the way, he stole the election the first time! I will not vote for anyone who doesn't shares my values, and so far, the candidates I voted for were independents, and never even came close to winning!!!! I am now looking for an honest, progressive public servant, who will not do the bidding of the globalists!!! Does such a candidate even exist?

What most people outside of America never read is that the election was 49% to 51%, so essentially half the country voted against him.
