I think those are keloids but I'm not absolutely sure. Keloids are an overgrowth of scar tissue at the site of a healed skin injury.

She got into a car accident. The scars are called kelloys (I'm sure I'm not spelling it right but, it is what it is). It is a condition that when you get a cut or in her case a gash it just doesn't heal up properly. She can have plastic surgery to remove them and correct her skin. They are most common behind the ears, hers just happen to be on her arms.

they are from a car accident. she said in an episode that she didnt have them cosmetically fixed because they reminded her of the pain life could bring and that helped her to apprecieate the good things in life (or something to that affect)

she was in a car wreck three years ago. she said that she could get them removed, but the scars are too sentimental to her. if it was me, i wouldn't want anything on my skin that reminds me of a death experience.

i think it looked like that because she got into a car accident and its like glass embedded in there...she has them all on her face and back and arm too

people say that its because she got burned when she was young, or since shes african american some peoples skin just gets like that.
