I have PCs that run memory intensive games like gears of war. I had a 2.2 celeron that was blowing away my one 3.2 P4 simply because of the video card. I have even had identical chipset graphic cards in two machines, but the slowe pci beat out the agp because it had 128mb on it while the agp had 64.
Does anyone else think that consumers concentrate too much on the CPU and not the graphics processing unit (GPU). The Wii is sporty a 512 MB ati card. I couldn't dream of affording to put something like that in my pc right now. As far as I have , the PS3 is using a 512 MB Nvidia GPU.
I know CPU is important, but isn't the GPU much more important. For the difference in money? Especially since even 1080p is normal resolution (not high) res on some of the pc games i play. The Wii has 480p. Unless you are actually going to hook it up to a 60"LCD 1080p, i don't think you would know the difference,a nd even then that is too low of a resolution for such a large display.

See? Sexy, white, simple, minimal, and with glowy blue... "ooh" lights.
Amusingly, the other peripherals (unlike the one on top) don't look that nice when in the "wild". After the jump you'll see untreated pics of the Wii sensor bar, nunchuk controller, console stand, power supply, and composite cable. Sexy or not, these are the things that come with the box, so even if they're not that pleasing to look at, you still get an idea how the entire package looks like.

Dont take out wii off the market ive been waiting for this day since they've announced the wii on the news. How can you be so sure they copied, and y didnt u say this since be4, y wait until it came out and then announce this. you guys can be lying about this and maybe showing something similar to the wii, but knowing nintendo they would never copy, because they are the oldest and the most skilled company in all the markets. So reconsider wat you've said about taking wii off the market and even if they copied, stop thinking about the money and look at how people are happy to see this life changing console. For once think about other stuff than the money.

xbox360 all the way. You should think about the future. Think about when you will be able to play those M games. Call of Duty and the other awesome games always run best on xbox. I am no xbox fanboy or a PS3 hater. I have been looking up the two consoles for a few weeks and it looks to me like the 360 comes out on top! Thanks so much, Zyloa

Video cards can add much to the abilities, but without a good cpu, it would be all for naught. You have a celeron? Sorry fopr u man. Go with AMD proscessors.

First off, Wii rocks! the graphics are better than gamecube, and they look fine. forget what every1 else says, u can't beat the fun of wii. 360 and Wii are ruling the gaming world, and PS3 is trampled under their feet. that's the way things should be.
