The Hammers need better defenders, plain and simple. It has become FAR to easy to score on them. I think Curbs will do just enough.

West Ham have Quality players for the Championship, but not the Premiership.
West Ham are going down with Wigan and Watford this is the year the 3 W's drop.

Definitely YES. Curb is a proven Premiership Manager and he was able to keep a poor Charlton team in the top flight for so many years with little budget. He will be able to wield his magic once again with experienced players he is bringing in during the transfer window. He needs to get rid of the Baby Bentley attitude from his current crop of players or get rid of them if they don't repent. He need to bring in some youth players to harness the team and show them he is not afraid to change the whole team. West Ham players need to show they are playing for the team rather than playing for themselves.

They have quality players mate. They just play pony. Half time? Instead of a bollocking i would threaten them with a stun gun or let in half a dozen fans into the dressing room, see how the attitudes change then

Yes, of course he can. Sell some players if he has to but he'll do so. He's got the skills of an English Arsene Wenger. He can buy rubbish players and make them good.

i doubt if wright -phillips will be good enough for you since he has demanded his move from man city he has become total **** at chelski,he has lost everything and would you want him on reported 70k a week.i suggest giving youth a chance and few surprises might come out it.even if dean ashton comes back its not a one mans team.it seems you have caught the european bug, look at boro, newcastle, norwich, all done crap after playing in europe.

they have the funds available its just a question whether curbs can manage them efficiently and bring in experienced proven players and play it safe rather than taking risks on unproven players, but i think his experience from his charlton era will help him immensly
