we went swimming...one pair was left and forgotten, and now it's missing...still somewhere in the engine... any damage risk? to say radiator fan or something? or issit safe to just forget about it

Yes your car might develop a canerial disease and the belts would have the churpies and it's untweetable!!

It could do any of what everyone else said (belts,fan,exhaust)but you could see it if you look around. If you cant see it then the only thing i'd worry about would be if it got sucked into the intake/breather it could stop it from running or get sucked inside the engine if you don't have a filter then it could do some valve damage internally

Well, lessee...it could get tangled up in the fan...that'd be a couple of hundred to repair. Or in the accessory belt...oooh, more bucks. Worse case scenario? Yup...end up on the exhaust and start a fire. Bet your insurance wouldn't cover that...

Only if it got on to a hot exhaust component it could start a fire or something.

If u car leaks fluids there may be a few more skid marks in them if u find them!!

yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if oil or gas got on it... i hope you got insurance because you got a fire in your car
