Th intro is acoustic and its a fairly new song.

Well its like a pop/acoustic rock song and it's pretty new. and i know the guitar starts out strumming with a c chord to an em chord.

Could it be "Watermelon Man"? It is an acoustic jazz song. I know it is really hard to describe songs in words, but if I could try, it goes like this...

BUM (building louder for about 4) bum bum dah daa (the preceding for words lasting 1/2 a beat and the next word being 4 beats) dum...
