Well I know how you feel. most of the time I don't do birthdays but people usally, as hard to believe as it is, like calmer parties and if they are really your friends they won't mind. Play some regular board games ( scene it and trivial pursuit is awesome game for big groups) Stay suddle and your guests will enjoy!

You should get a whole bunch of chips, and pop, and then in your basement, cover all the lights with different colored tissue paper(only one sheet on each light though), turn on music loud, and put out some party games, and then, all you have to do is get a lot of people there.

(I suggest the game "do you love me" , it's great if you play with a lot of people.)

You should go to one of those party stores or variety outlet fo some cheap, cute decorations. As for the cake, make it yourself. Serve finger foods and dip. Good luck!
