Girls these days will do anything for a boyfriend...i even wonder if in their dictionary there are the words self-respect and dignity ....

tell her to honor the code: sisters before misters. her bf is being way too controling and she needs to see that before he goes too far. i read this book where there was a relationship like that. the guy ended up hiting her and not letting her do anything that would bring attention to herself. he had to go to therapy and get help. but it's just a book, right?

She'd better watch out. Cutting someone off from their friends is a classic abuser strategy.

She is in for many years of control, abuse and neglect. Sadly, no matter what you say, she will not believe you and might even hate you for saying it. Just be there for her when she does need you and dint be judgemental

Yes, its pretty bad seeing people controling other people. I hope your friend sees the light before its too late.

ya-one reason I'll never get married-my ex-girlfriend was controlling/the same way, & I felt like I was married, & in a cage.

Wow, I do hate that. How can your friend still be with him if he treats her that way?

doesn't sound like she has much of a brain, therefore maybe not much of a loss as friend.
