Yeah, it's horrible what pet stores/media has made everyone think.
That's like the opposite kind of fish that should be kept in a bowl.
I had a bunch of goldfish in bowls when I was a little kid.
Now I have a 25 gallon tank with cooler fish.
And I hope to have way huger fish/tanks in the future.

I agree, goldfish aren't a good beginner fish because most beginners don't have a tank large enough for goldfish.

Goldfish are great beginner fish. But, they are dirty fish and need lots of space. Also, the bigger the tank you can afford the better off you will be to start.

When I was little a carnival came to town and just about every kid in the area won a goldfish in a bowl at the ring toss game. We had that dumb little gold fish in that bowl for four or five years. I can remember my mother saying she wished that stupid fish would die so she wouldn't have to clean the bowl. When it did die, she cried.

ok.... 750mm= approximately 29-a million/2 in's, 400mm=15-3/4in's, 350mm=13-3/4in's, so this is approximately 28gals tank. I understand this is in simple terms 2cm, u can upload yet another goldfish with him/her. with the aid of Blue Dolphin.. Do u recommend the Blue Dolphin Cichlid, if u do. that isn't an fairly stable theory, simply by fact Cichlids are Tropical aggressive fishes. stable success and need this facilitates!

I got my fish and about five or six others at a fair when I was younger. They were just giving them away. Most of them died within a few weeks, but one lived. He's eight years old now and I know more about how to keep fish, so I put him in a bigger tank and clean it about once a week. I think he might outlive my dog!
