yes. All multiplication is is adding numbers faster. All you need to do when multiplying is ask yourself a question. Say you want to know what 2 x 3 is.
1. The equation is asking you, what is 2, added 3 times together?
2. Write out the problem into addition : 2 x 3= 2 + 2 + 2
3. Find the sum of your new equation: 2 + 2+ 2+ 6
4. If 2 + 2 + 2=6, that is the same as 2 x 3, because you added the number 2 three times,
5. So, 2 x 3 = 6
Hope this helps!
