The move to Fremont is not final, lets hope they can figure out a better place than Fremont out because that city has no future. It's a piece of krap; always was, it's always going to be that way.

Freddy they are moving to Fremont and they may change it to that name. But I could see south bay a's I hope its fremont as thats the town I am from.

god I hope not. i doubt that will be the south bay a's...as that might rub the orange man across the bay the wrong way. technically that's their territory.
My hunch is that they will do something retarted like the angels or the new york jets (play in new jersey). i keep writing the a's website to make them keep the name.

I've never really been a fan of the name Athletics (I know I'll get flack for that, but I'm telling you what I think.) I know the name has history and fans are all attached to it, but I've always thought it was kind of dumb. I'm sorry if I offended any die hards out there.
