It is definitely not jealousy!! that is a sure fact..I am Irish and certainly not jealous....Why you wonder...Just think, your country has a famine, the only source of food is the spud, and this has blyte, you have no money for food or seed for wheat, as this has been taken off you for "rent" or "taxes". Can't feed your clan so you have no choice but to leave the country or die. Your children are not allowed to be educated, just basically exist. Taking over the country calling it their right to take what is "theirs" when it is not.
No wonder the english are hated.. We have very long memories that will never forget and that lasts generations...
Good films to reflect this is "The wind that shakes the barley" and Braveheart.. You see if from our point of view. It is not put on either..
Sometimes it is the fact that the english think that they are better at everything else than everyone else. It is quite patronising and you can only put people and countries down so much.. And also do not have their facts correct, especially when I see that Ireland is part of the UK which is definitely not..Just because the harp is on the Queen's flag, doesn't mean that it is. That is a traditional flag that has been there since England took over Ireland and then lost it in 1922, the Irish eventually away from English tyrannary.

maybe because the English allow a Scottish minority to run the UK IE[ tony Blair, Gordon brown, lord falconer, john Reid] or its because we don't mind the Irish, the Scots and the welsh to have there own Parliaments, but do not allow the English to have there own. as for the Germans, well we scuppered there little ideas and as for the Spanish [ don't mention the armada].

Come on though, look what we've given the world: the web, Monty Python, the Beatles, a universal language (if only you'd use it correctly), football, pantomime, Shakespear, real ale, cricket, Cadbury chocolate, the industrialised revolution, Winnie the Pooh, Eastenders (ok not Eastenders), and Elvis.

It's true! Bet none of you knew he was actually born and raised in Grimsby. Mother Therasa of Calcutta - Luton girl through and through. Used to work at the airport. Einstein used to edit Dear Deirdre in the Sun newspaper until his typewriter keys got stuck and he accidentally stumbled on the formula e=mc2. He was actually trying to spell 'condom' at the time. How about Nelson Mandella. To you he's a political hero, but I used to know him when he was a busker on the London Underground. The Picadilly line was his favourite pitch. He used to do a great version of Itchycoo Park by the Small Faces.

Primarily because we have fought most major countries.
I personally think it is because we appear to stand by the yanks unquestionably following their lead, the good news is that most brits dont agree with Mr Bush's policies.

Apparently we are rude and obnoxious when abroad and have no control over our football supporters.

I am afraid I look around at my own people (the English) and even I, a patriot dispair sometimes.

I reckon if we all behaved better abroad, and kept out of other countries political affairs we would be much better liked.

The English are not hated by any of these peoples. All this small minded individual is trying to do is garner the opinions of a small minority from within each country and misrepresent them as the majority.

It is my expectation That Yahoo will identify the source of this incitement to racial hatred and fulfil their legal responsibility to report the individual concerned and have them prosecuted.

If they do not We can safely assume that Yahoo are aiding and abetting them in this crime and they too should face prosecution for the same.

Maybe because a lot of English people think they are superior but they just come over as arrogant?

I don't have a problem with English people generally, just when they are being up their own *rses.

But to be fair I have a problem with anyone who is like that no matter where they come from.

The Germans and Spanish hate us (if they do) because they don't know what we're like.

The Irish, Scots and Welsh hate us (if they do) because they do know what we're like
