First off it is called "burn" not downloading. What you can do if you only have the Windows XP OS, is to use your RW Drive and the Windows OS options for burning to a disk. What you do is open My Computer and then open Windows Media Player. In Windows Media Player select the music you want to burn. When you have it all in the right pane, place a disk in the tray, then click Burn. It will burn the music to your disk.
To prepare your drive for burning, when you have My Computer open, right click on your drive and select the Recording Tab. That is the Tab for setting options for burning music. Now, make sure the eject disk when finished is selected, and select a recording speed, use Fastest unless it returns errors, if so then go back and select a slower speed. Make sure other options you want are selected, click OK, Ok again to exit and then click Burn on the Windows Media Player. When it is done burning it will eject the disk, so you will know when it is finished. Very easy to do.
Good luck and much fun burning your music to disks.

It simple. Simply find the windows media player that you already have installed on your computer by clicking on the start menu on the bottom left or your screen. Then click on all programs, then you will see list of shortcuts and stuff. You will see windows media player. Click on it. Once it open, click on copy to device or CD tab. There you can drag the music you want to have on your disc so that you can be able to playback the music on a CD player or any kind or playback for Cd's. After your done putting in the list of music click on copy music. You'll have to wait for it to be done. Enjoy!!

Go to where your songs on located (My Music or whatever), copy them (ctrl+c), and then paste them onto the CD drive (located under My Computer). Once you have all the songs you want on there, click load to CD (it says something like that). That should work. Or you could just you iTunes, Windows Media Player, or whatever to do it.

You will need a CD burning program such as Nero or Alcohol 120% or Roxio Easy CD Creator. All you have to do is add those songs into the list and hit Burn. Just make sure you have a CDR or CDRW drive first.

It's easy to do this right from within iTunes. Just make a playlist with all the songs you want to back up and choose 'burn playlist to disc' from the 'file' menu. However, I really don't see why you need to delete all programs because you have a virus. Most viruses can be fairly easily dealt with and any damage repaired, I believe, though this isn't an area where I have much expertise as I keep my computers well-protected. Whichever way you go, I hope you get your problems solved.
