are purebred dogs better then mix breed?

I have been around both kinds and like them both very much ..
and if you think that purebred is best do you feel the same about humans? Mairah Carey is half black and half itailan and she is very good looking and apparently very talented

For what purpose? Purebred dogs are consistent; they come out about the size and shape you expect, so they're good for showing and for people who want a specific type of dog. But many mutts are adorable and very balanced in personality, making excellent pets. It just depends on what you want.

It is somewhat crude to refer to a human as a "mixed breed," but in my opinion, many multi-racial people are very attractive, perhaps because they have a broader gene pool. (i.e. Halle Berry)

All my life we have had five dogs. Regrettably 4 of them have passed. Pest in Peace,

But my first two, when I was five years old, we had a huskey collie miz, and a red healer beagle mix.
Both those dogs were so protective of me when I was a baby. My dad had those two since he was in high school. Saved the beagle ( max) from an abusive owner
and revived the huskie ( Ringo) when he got hit by a car.

When those two passed, I was so sad, and my parents adopted brother and sister pups, that were blue and red healer mix. They have been with my family for 13 yeart. The boy( bear) was such a cuddle lover dog, much like ringo, and the girl sasha was a hunter dog.
They both had exubrant personalities, MUCH differant than Max and Ringo, but just as sweet. Unfortunately Sasha was the last to go, and we had to let her go because of deafness blindness and arthritis.

Now we have a pure bread Siberian Huskey. Acts just like a human, Has so much personality, and is such a free spirit.

I can't help to think it's because of her native wolf genes.

But either way each animal has a differant personality, much like all the human's you encounter, so to assign a spacific personalty, to a spacific breed is the EXACT SAME as sterio types.

Much like mixed heratiges, mixed breeds can produce some GORGOUSE animals.

*****But Suzyfire starter is right about the inbreeding, that is the case with our pure bread, she has bad eyes and will go blind if we stop putting medicine in her eyes that we got from the vet.
What is sad is people will do that to an innocent life, just to make more money.

Mix breeds tend to have less quirky traits because they are usually not a product of in breeding..For example, breeding siblings or mother-son..,father-daughter.This unfortunately happens with many pure breeds.All people are mutts if we look far back enough. Is Mairah Carey a dog??

No. Purebreeds are no better than mix breeds. As for people, race should be of no issue whatsoever. I don't care whether or not Mariah Carey is a purple people eater. It's the person themselves that count. Is a black dog better than a white dog? No. Is a long nosed dog better than a short nosed dog? No.

Well I've only owned mixed breeds, but I like them better. I heard they are a bit smarter and learn quicker and also live longer.
