Hello, I just got an acer laptop and upon booting up, It started to download drivers. Right now is says "Process: 8/18, Update VGA" and it has been this way for way over an hour now with no progress. I see another box that says "ATI Catalyst Contol Center" and the green bar stopped halfway and isn't loading anymore. What's up? Do are the drivers incompatible or something? Please, I really need your help. Thanks.

look,the ATI catalyst control center should has no relation with this,so u can try putting the ATI installation CD in the CD-ROM as the laptop cant continue the downloading process for the ATI card.if it didn't work then this driver almost not working,but the brand almost can work on the laptop.
