well I have been dress last summer alot, and I realized that my period pattern has changed. I never updated myself oftenly about my period until I notice it changed. Is it normal for a girl to have her cycle changed? please help I really don't know what to do and can I find any sites that can explain to me this? (my mom died when I was 10 so I didn't really had anyone to talk to about my femine issues)

consider whether or not you’ve recently been sick, gained or lost a significant amount of weight, have been under excessive stress, hormone imbalance, or have taken any new medications. All of these things can affect your menstrual cycle and cause you to have irregular periods. Additionally, certain types of birth control, including the birth control pill, Depo-Provera and Norplant, can cause you to have menstrual cycles disturbances.

How old are you? Teenager's menstrual patterns often change, but if you're in your 20s or older this might be something you should talk to your doctor about. If your cycle is still close to "normal" (you get your period about once every 4 weeks, and it lasts for less than a week each time) then there's probably nothing to worry about.

By the way, all women should see a gynecologist regularly, so if you've never been to one you should go.
