I dont even own an iron! I have never ironed any of my clothes. I remember my mom doing that on occasion when i was a kid, but she stopped that when i was around 10. I really didnt realize people still did that. Of course considering i wear jeans or shorts and a Tshirt or sweatshirt everyday i really dont need to iron anything.

I don't know, but when I was a kid part of my house hold chores was to do some ironing once a week. This included ironing my dads boxer shorts! I am still mentally scarred by this!

Doesn't it drive you nuts my mom does that too but to EVERYONES in the house !!!then she combs the rug and vacuums 6X a day and wakes you up so she can make you bed in the morning when I get my own house I am going to be a PIG for 6 months I swear!!!!

lol - i too know some sad, strange people who do that !!! what on earth is the point of ironing socks or pants ?!?!? i've never been able to work that one out..... i've always had far more important things to do other than iron daft things like that..... another thing that's mad is when they iron tea towels.... i've given up trying to understand it........

Its called Sad Person Syndrome, my sister does it and she even irons her dusters and dish clothes, she really needs help big time.

I only iron my daughters knickers - she's 3 and their dead small. My hubby bought me some M&S knickers for Christmas and I've ironed them to keep them crisp and nice. Otherwise, I don't bother.
