Can you use a timer for a little floor heater?

The Home Depot sells a Heavy Duty Plug-In timer which should handle a 1500 watt portable heater. It also has the "ground" prong so be sure to use it with a properly grounded outlet.

You can if the heater does not exceed the wattage of the timer
