I have made a few good friends online..
Some friendships span now to over 8 years.
We sometime talk on the phone as some of the friendships are in other countries. I think Friendships are ok..
Just like pen pals.
But love affairs can be, game playing and really mess with a persons life.

it's great because you get to know the person based on communication.. not just on looks. you find out who they really are, you can learn about their values, beliefs, goals, past, present situations etc.. you can totally open up and be yourself and not have to fear being judged..
if things don't work out, then it's not a big loss..
but i have had many online connections that turned into great real friendships.. a few that actually turned into love.

It is nice to interact with people from all over the world, but I see them as honorary friends rather than real ones.

Yeah! I love Myspace, almost except I almost killed this one girl who tried to get all over my girlfriend, after we told her we just wanted friends, but yeah! I have made some cool, but wacky friends...So, yeah..ya never know.
