it sounds like a violation to me, but since every state is different (slightly) in these matters, here are some links.

just click on your state and find the section you need.

also contact your local Legal Aid Office. they are in every state and most counties. they go on a sliding scale, so its free to most. look in the phone book for them or call the county court clerks office. if no luck, contact your states Bar Assoc for it.

most states you have to give a 30-60 day notice of moving and give the father the where abouts. If you don't you could get for contempt or even worse, kidnapping. 30% or 50% visitation doesn't matter, you are to let him know where you are. Sorry for the bad news! good luck!

You could face charges. I your husband has visitation he has a right to the children. If you violate a court order you could lose your children and parental rights. If you wish to move away get a lawyer and take it through the court system. You do not want to lose everything!

hello,
well if you move without a notice to their father he could press kidnapping charegs aginst you if he wanted.....but if you give a 30-90 day notice to him then he has to take yoou to court....and then its up to the judge if you can move.....but you have to have a good reason in why your moving....but if you stay in the state that your in then thats a different story.....but you do have to tell him that you are moving.....and still give a notice.....i had the same thing done...i moved from missouri to arizona and the judge ordered me to move back to missouri so now i am stuck here in this boring state.......but it all depends on the father and if he wants to hassel you about you moving.....if he is active in the childrens life then he may beable to keep you where you are......
