They can go out of date but the use by date will be on the packet.
Its not advisable to take them without medical supervision though as they may make your blood pressure rise leading to other problems, even if you were OK on them before.
It would be safer to go to your doctor and get another prescription.

Anything containing drugs can go out of date.
As I am not a chemist, I cannot say for certain whether these pills are the same now as they were then.
Be extra careful as 1 slight change can turn something innocent into deadly poison!

Open the pack and flush 'em or take to the GP's when you have the appointment to get the new Pill and ask them to dispose of them.

If you're thinking of having the Pill Injection then don't.
It throws your body's menstruation cycle out of the window and EVERY woman I know that has had it, has had problems conceiving after using it!

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse and unless there is an expiry date on them, they should be OK but only if they are still sealed and been kept in a cool, dark place. All pills and liquid medication goes off after a time or may be reduced in strength. Most medications have a sell/use by date on them. So be careful that these tabs have not lost there strength or you will end up in trouble

All medications have a shelf life. The date will either be on the end of the carton or on the blister pack. If no date chuck them and get some fresh.

what is the point in risking it. just go to your doctor and get a new prescription as you are no doubt aware the contraceptive pill is free of prescription charges so you have nothing to lose

There should be an expiry date on the packet. If it's past that date then throw them away.
