Well, I'm on birth control, this is my fourth month. I'm on the pill to regulate my cycle. The first time I was bleeding for about 2 weeks, the next, about 1 1/2 weeks, the last time it was about 6 days. But that's just me.

its different for each medicated pill. Mine says i will have it for 3-4 days but i still have to wear a thin pad for an extra day. But since I've been on the pill its been shorter than when i was off.

I usually get it on the third day of the sugar pills, and it's gone by the time I start the active ones again, so four days.

I'm in my 50's and have used the pill my whole adult life, and now my periods are down to about a day and a half and pantyliners are enough.
