For those of you who have had them... What type of gift would you most appreciate after your surgery? Someone very close to me is having one, and she's also young (25). Any ideas would be very much appreciated!!

If you can afford it or know of someone who would do it, someone to clean the house, do the laundry, making some food dishes for her would be great. Other things would be magazines, books, anything to occupy her time, she is going to need plenty rest. Good luck to her!!!

I'd suggest doing some chores for her: she'll appreciate it especially after having major surgery. Go grocery shopping for her; or vacuum, or clean... bring by a few meals after she leave the hospital. Gifts like that really show you care and remembered.
