Hi everyone.

I have done this once before, but now I forget. Can someone please tell me how to speed up your computer by deleting some of the start up programs on your task bar (next to the time). I dont want to delete them completely, I just don't need them to load each time without needing them.

Thanks

If this is what I think your asking.

Right click on "Start"
Left on "Properties"
Left on "Customize"
Left on "start menu" for all users
Left on Programs
I would add a folder that says "moved" or something
Left of "startup"
drag the programs that you do not want to load into your newly created folder, this way you can stick them back if you want them to load.

The other type has to do with your ini file but I don't think you should mess with that.

Hope this helps

you might be thinking of this:

go to start, then run, then type in msconfig.

edit your startup programs carefully. only stop the ones you know about. uncheck them and then click ok
