Even though lead is toxic, many lead compunds are still used as paint pigments. What volume of 1.50mol/L lead(II) acetate contains 0.400 Pb ions.

sorry yes, the question is supposed to be 0.400 Pb=2 ions but i didnt add the =2 because i thought it was understood, and no it does not say mole sit says exactly, "0.400Pb=2 ions." this is take from McGraw-Hill Ryerson text book

I assume you mean 0.400 mol of Pb2+ ions.

The answer is 0.4/1.5 of a litre. Now work it out!

Your question is not correct. "0.400 Pb ions" is not physically significant, i.e. You can't have a fraction of an ion.
