I have a CLAD credential and master's in teaching secondary social studies. After noticing that my students know very little about proper nutrition and fitness, I may want to teach either health or physical education. Can I take the CSET tests in these areas, or is there more involved?

I am not from California, but generally you are required to take university level courses in the subject areas that you wish to teach. I suggest contacting your school board or even your principal. If there is a high demand in the area of health then they may allow it. If not, you will probably have to take classes and get a degree.
