Yes, it is discouraging in many cases. However, sometimes you find out the purpose of the question that it is for ridiculing someone or something so you get the message and don't need to go further.
Will you go and keep on reading with genuine interest if someone wrote a lengthy statement of abuse about something so dear to you with continuous tirade of bad adjective words? Not all will read to the end.

If it's more than 3 lines, people aren't interested in reading the rest of it~~ I always see the remark that says your question was too long~~~ Very aggravating~~~~

YES! I'll ask a question sometimes and give FULL details then they'll ask me something THAT WAS ALREADY WRITTEN.
