me again. i have some more quesitons about wow.
i did ragefire chasm on my new character which is a warrior there was a priest in the group and he kept dying. the priest said i had to attack the monsters that attacked him, i said he should stay away from the ones i am fighting then they wont attack him (i think he had never heard about aggro range) when a monster got him he would run over to the monsters i was fighting and they would attak him too. i told him he was playing wrong but the rest of the group said i was a nub and kicked me. they think i should stop the preist dying but hte priest can heal himself and shouldnt be getting the monsters to attack him anyway. anyone can back me up on this point?
also i dont understand some of the things said in wow like l2p, qq, ftw.

Oh dear! In a five man instance you must ALWAYS watch if the healer is being attacked it doesnt matter whether or not it is their fault if the healer dies the groups survival rate is cut dramatically. The healer CANNOT heal themselves as well as you they also cannot heal while mobs interupt there cast time.

If you have the mobs (monsters) aggro it does not matter were the healer stands in relation to that mob they could dance round it's head if they wanted too range has nothing to do with it.

What does draw aggro is the healing itself. You have aggro>healer heals you>healer has aggro. You must pull it back off them, priests do have an aggro management spell called fade which is great but has a cd (cool down).

So you are wrong, listen to your healer and one more healer friendly tip NEVER make a "HEAL ME" macro!

l2p-learn to play
QQ (must be caps)- cry more
ftw- for the win

l2p is learn to play
qq basically means you're crying
ftw is for the win

If you're a warrior, then you're supposed to try to keep aggro, but the priest can get aggro from being where he isn't supposed to be and from healing (or attacking ranged of course).

Without being there it is hard to say who screwed up.

But I can tell you that you'll be bored stiff before too long. I have a 60 warrior and was just getting my horde up to 40 when I got so incredibly, thoroughly bored I canceled my account. That's how I feel about WoW these days.
