I am making backup DVDs and they are pausing/freezing in only one of my DVD players - in my vehicle. Any ideas? I have read that it may be due to the burn speed or that I may need to use a DVD cleaner to clean my player. Is there fact in this? Is it possibly the media I am using, should I be using different media? I have tried two separate media with the same results.

TIA for your help!

Yes, some players have difficulties with burned dvd's. You could try changing to a higher-quality media and see if that works. Another method would be to try burning at a lower speed. Perhaps there are some minor glitches that is affecting it. The lower speed may help to iron that out. Also make sure the disc is "finalized". Some players do not respond well to a disc that is still "open".

Good luck.
