OSU strategy is to play a weak nonconference team in order to go to a BCS bowl game. It is up to the head coach to decide which nonconference team to play. Obviously, big 10 team is afraid to play against USC. I bet Pete Carroll ask many times to play his team. When was the last time OSu played USC? I don't recall. Could it be OSU afraid to lose?? At least MIchigan got the balls to play USC. Therefore, I'll give mich credit although they are weak. Like Pete Carroll says all yr round " we'll play any time anywhere." Is big ten up to it? Or will they stick to their strategy and play weak conference team.

Non-conference games aside, the PAC-10 is a much deeper conference than the Big 10 is anyway. Past OSU and Michigan and maybe Wisconsin, what do you have?
In the PAC-10 you have teams like Cal, UCLA, Arizona St, and Stanford, which is usually a solid team...even the second tier teams like Oregon/St and Washington St are better than the Big 10's second-tier teams.

Michigan didn't decide to play USC, it was a bowl game. But yes, if you look at the top 3 teams from the Big 10, non of them played ANYBODY. OSU actually did play Texas, but they turned out to be a flop. Where USC played Arkansas, Notre Dame, and Nebraska in their non-conference play.

In 2008 OSU and USC will play one yet another in a house and abode sequence with fist game being performed at OSU. i'm no longer a osu fan i'm a die tricky Michigan fan. My queastion to you is while become the final time USC palyed a suitable notch group on the line like OSU has in Texas. No Arkansas does no longer count huge form. that must be interesting to USC circulate to places like Florida, Miami, Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, and ohio st

Uh, I totally don't get what you're saying. But, it's all a moot point because as much as I hate to admit it (Go Blue!!!) OSU will probably pull it out tonight. They're just good, kinda scary good...
