Well thank you for making me look daft. In my native country, we celebrate a "Fortnight of Romance" from January 28 to February 12.. It's only the silly English speaking people that celebrate 2 days after that, and by giving eachother cards and flowers and such! Tss.. Oh well, I have just now decided I will adapt to life in this country.
So that's 3 shags a day (42), two pet rats, many many flowers, lots of chocolate and our Dutch treat (money on the side of the bed) that you are going to miss out on!

I was at the Millenium stadium a few years ago on V. day. about 4 guys asked their g/f to marry them with the help of the big screen and p.a. system. All said yes and then the camera turned to couple No 5 high up in the stand and she was tearing big lumps out of him. you could see what she was saying - "Those otherbastards asked their g/f am i not good enough for you"
Laugh - i nearly bought a meat pie.

It's good because you'll see when is the first time he shows how much he loves you. That being that Valentines day doesn't count. Let's just see how long it takes for him to show you how much he cares, don't ever let a holiday remind him. Let his heart remind himself. It will make you feel better the day he catches you by surprise, and that it's not something he does every single-year.

OK VERONICA,
SO THE GUY IS 2 WEEKS LATE,BUT AT LEAST HE REMEMBERED. HE COULD HAVE FORGOTTEN COMPLETELY AND JUST BLOWN OFF THE HOLIDAY COMPLETELY!
IT ISN'T ROMANTIC, BUT HOW IS HE ON YOUR MEETING FOR THE FIRST TIME ANNIVERSARY OR YOUR B-DAY?
MY FIFE HAS TAUGHT ME MUCH ABOUT MY OWN SHORTCOMINGS.

No — 'Romantic' would not have been the word I'd have chosen. It really only matters what you and he think, though.
