You need an XP driver for your audio card. You can get it from the manufacturer or you can see if XP can find one. To do that you just right-click "My Computer." Then select PROPERTIES | HARDWARE | DEVICE MANAGER. In the device manager window, you should see your audio card name with a yellow icon in front of it. Right click on that icon and select UPDATE Driver. In the dialog box that comes up, select "Install the software automatically." Follow the prompts and let it search on the Web. Good luck.

If you're not sure what drivers you need for your hardware (if you don't know what hardware you have in your PC!) then try a tool like Driver Detective (from http://www.drivershq.com/ )which will go off and find the correct drivers for any hardware which requires them, and might even suggest some updated drivers for your other kit :)

Alternative tool available on the PC Pitstop site: http://www.pcpitstop.com/welcome.asp?source=driverscan&cs=1001
