You asked this already. Still the Beatles MJ Zeppelin and the Stones. And the only other one I can say for sure is Metallica. 50 Years is a loooooooong time from now. Only transcendent bands last that long. I think the people saying Lady Gaga up there jsut don't realize how long a time that is. The Beatles haven't even been around 50 years yet.

These ones below are ones not many know about him....

Elvis was born with a twin brother named Jesse. But Jesse was born stillborn.
~ Elvis was born with blonde hair but constantly dyed it black throughout his life.
~ One of Elvis' first jobs was at a movie theater in Memphis.
~ Elvis once said that he thought Debra Paget, who starred in "Love Me Tender" with Elvis, was the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. When he met Priscilla, he thought she resembled Debra very much so.
~ In the tabloids about Elvis & Priscilla when they first met, they said Priscilla was 16 years old but she was actually only 14.
~ Priscilla became pregnant with Lisa Marie on the night of her and Elvis' honeymoon.
~ After Priscilla gave birth to Lisa Marie, Elvis apparently did not have intercourse with her anymore. Elvis felt that a mother should be treated as a sacred figure. He felt this way because he had such a close relationship with his own mother.
~ Hundreds of Elvis' songs were not his originally. But he made many of the songs more popular than they were before. For instance, "Heartbreak Hotel" wasn't written by Elvis & he wasn't the first to sing it.
~ Elvis recorded the song "Indescribable" on his bed in a hotel room because he was in a bad mood and didn't feel like going to the recording studio. To this day, those are the same vocals that are on various CDs.
~ Elvis was inducted into the Rock, Gospel, & Country Hall of Fames. He was the only person to be in all 3.
~ Elvis earned a black belt in karate in 1960.
~ Elvis owned a chimpanzee named Scatter.
~ The King was an insomniac throughout his lifetime. He once said that 5 hours of sleep was all he needed.
~ The King did not like posing for pictures for photoshoots, it sometimes made him feel uncomfortable.
~ Elvis passed out from exhaustion after recording "If I Can Dream".
~ Elvis only performed 2 concerts outside the U.S., both were in Canada.
~ Apparently, Elvis' favorite actress to work with was Shelley Fabares. She appeared in 3 films with him.
~ Elvis had an affair with actress Ann-Margaret in 1963 during the filming of their movie "Viva Las Vegas". But Elvis ended the relationship when Ann told a magazine interviewer that she thought Elvis was "a great man" & that she was in love with him.
~ Elvis' favorite movies that he did were Jailhouse Rock & King Creole. He felt that he was truly acting in those films.
~ In the film made about Elvis titled "That's the Way It Is", the title clearly ends with the word "is", but at the end of the movie, the title ends with the word "was".
~ One of Elvis' favorite vacation spots was Hawaii, in which he filmed 3 of his movies there & the 1973 "Aloha from Hawaii" satelite telecast special was set there.
~ Elvis once jumped on stage at a Tom Jones concert in Las Vegas. He then did a 10 minute karate demonstration.
~ The King wore lots of jewelry, especially rings. Some of the rings he wore on stage weren't actually real. They were just costume jewelry, Elvis thought they were pretty.
~ Elvis had 2 minor plastic surgeries done to his face in the 70's. One to his eyes (in which the sexy droop under them was fixed) & one to his nose, which was very minor.
~ In the 70's, Elvis often wore the Cross & the Star of David on the same necklace. When people asked why, he would simply say, "To make you think."
~ Elvis held the record for the largest crowd for 2 concerts which were at the Houston Astrodome in March of 1974. 89,000 people attended his performance.
~ More people watched Elvis in the "Aloha from Hawaii" special in 1973 than people who watched Neil Armstrong walk on the moon in 1969.
~ When Elvis went to go see Pres. Nixon, he didn't want anyone to know where he was going or what he was doing. But eventually his friends, Jerry & Sonny, came along with him. It was one of the first times that Elvis didn't have his usual pose' of men with him.
~ Elvis & his mother died at the same age which was 42. Gladys died in the year 1958 & Elvis died in 1977.
~ Elvis' death day was 2 days after his mother's. She died on August 14, Elvis died on August 16.
~ When Elvis died, his autopsy showed that he had 10 different types of prescription drugs in his blood stream.
~ The last picture ever taken of Elvis was when he was lying his casket. The photo appeared on the front cover of a major tabloid.
~ Elvis' home, Graceland, is the 2nd most visit house in the U.S., after the White House.
