New England or San Diego

Patriots are solid and have Brady, the biggest big game player of a generation.

But the Chargers also have an inexperienced QB and the dreaded Grim Reaper of playoff collapse, Marty Schottenheimer!

Battle hardened Patriots will win thanks to a transendent performance by Brady and a major gaffe or two by Schottenheimer. Rivers will turn the ball over. Tomlinson a non-factor.

Brady's legend grows, as does Schottenheimer's infamy.

Patriots 21-10 You can write it down.

San Diego by 14. New England is a great squad. Bellicheck and Brady are a dynamic duo. Though San Diego is just to much for them to handle. First, they are not going to be able to stop that running game. 31 touchdowns, and a huge amount of yards in the regualr season isn't going to vanish overnight. At best they can limit the big plays. Secondly, Brady is not going to have all day to throw. He was able to sit in the pocket and pick apart the Jets. Thats not going to happen against that SD Defense. Their front 4 is ridiculous. Especially that beast who had 17 sacks this year. Lastly, they are playing in San Diego.

I Hope San Diego, but you have to remember Rivers is a 1st year QB and they have a tendency to melt under pressure (so far he has held up nicely). The Patriots have an 11-1 record in the Playoffs (that is impressive). San Diego. 24-17

Chargers, Patriots field a solid and well rounded team but there's just very little you can do with a player like LT. If you try to stuff the box to stop him, he can make plays to the outside. If you commit LBs to contain him, you leave the middle of the field open for Antonio Gates.

Brady looked so good last week because the Jets couldnt get to him and put him on the carpet. The Chargers' rush is much stronger, and Brady will get a few hats put on him next Sunday.

Hmmmm, lets see, mediocre-do-barely-enough-not-to-lose-during-the-regular-season-inexperienced quarterback with a choke artist conservative coach vs the best football mind this century (Bill Belichick) and a pure winner (Tom Brady) I dont care if you have Tomlinson, he can only do so much. Football is a team game that requires a leader on the field. Who is the Chargers leader??? Rivers?!?! If thats what Charger fans are relying on, better luck next year. Pats all the way, this is Tom Brady for god's sake!
