Aren't you a little sick of the constant religious debate?

Question

"My god's better than your god"
"You've got errors in your holy scripture"
"We should worship god in this way, your way is wrong"

Etc Etc.

Say for a second there is a god (being agnostic I have no opinion) and it was you.
Wouldn't you be getting a little bored now with everybody running around moaning like little kids, whilst effectively going against the core of every religion - peace and respect to your fellow man?

Yeah, if they believe in God, surely they are supposed to be peace loving, love thy neighbour and all that! You already have a thumbs down from someone claiming to be religious. The last sentence is what religion is all about. Why do they need to argue about who's right? They will spew out so much hate arguing about what is 'right' then end up loosing the whole point of religion in the first place! I think we should just believe in God, not religion, who needs all the silly tradition and bickering. God would be so dismayed by it all and you can't even see that! Try to do what God wants, not what you all want.

Well i think everyone should just mind their own business . let people worship what ever they worship . Christianity, Islam. Judaism etc. As long as there happy worshipping there religion then no one has the right to criticise them . Because good followers from different religion can work together its just the illiterate followers think there religion is better .

Also here its always the atheist asking the stupidest questions ever. Fine fair enough they want to know but they can ask in a polite manner.

I just get sick of the fact that because they believe, they also think that they should be treated differently. I also don't like the fact that they preach one thing and do another. Personally, I don't know if there is a god, and I suppose if there is one, one day I'll find out, but I won't be bound by little rituals just to please a god.
It would be nice if we could just get along...however I think we have given religion far too much importance and it's taking away attention, energy and support from real issues.

Yes tis quite annoying really... people have their own opinion so whats the point of saying it if its going to cause a majorly long arguement... All your ideas are different and you all have different believes so why bother discussing that when there is actually no point because like you are ever actually going to find out "whos god is better" i have no opion and to be honest im not to bothered.

Why can't people stop sticking their religious noses into others peoples and let everyone live their life as they want.
As long as no one steals, kills, rapes i.e. breaks the law, then who cares what they believe.
IF there is a god, then when you die you may have picked the right relgion, or maybe not, it's too late, and who cares by then.

I get sick of people trying to convert other people. Religion is something you do for yourself, not anyone else. You dont have to understand anyone else's religions or why they believe it, but you should still respect their beliefs.

As for if i was god, i wouldn't be listening to people whining so it wouldn't bother me, i'd be playing ping pong with elvis!

no. I wish to inform people of my beautiful religion so that people can follow it. If nobody talked about their religions, how would other people find out about opinions from other religions?
