Chamomile tea w/out caffeine is great for relaxing. For the muscle/joint pain, try a warm bath/shower or jacuzzi. There are also a good # of OTC pain remedies for that, like glucosamine chondroitin for joints...

Boy, a lot of people like Chamomile tea, huh?

I have been drinking a very delicious and relaxing tea from Yogi Tea (http://www.yogitea.com/ ). While it is very relaxing (and quite good for the adrenal glands) the most important thing is that it is utterly delicious - licorice root tea. They also have a bed time tea, which is likely to be very relaxing also - and may it be as delicious as the licorice root tea I use. Of course the longer you let it steep the more flavorful it is - but I can even get 2 cups out of 1 bag. Good luck in your quest.

Peace!

I like to use chamomile tea, or something called Sleepytime Tea from Celestial Seasonings. I also find peppermint and chamomile a very nice combo. For muscle and joint pain, I think peppermint and ginger would be helpful.

Chamomile Tea works good

My vote is for chamomile. I usually buy the dried flowers in bulk and steep them in my tea ball. Add some raw honey, and yum! Yogi brands also makes a tasty Bedtime Tea -- and it works. Anything with valerian root also does the trick.

I like chamomile, but what also helps with muscles is Valerian tea. It also helps you sleep. Smells pretty bad though
