what do you thik about horror conventions? and has anyone here ever gone to one?

I don't know about horror conventions specifically, but I am a long time attendee of DragonCon, which is in Atlanta every Labor Day weekend. One of the largest conventions in the country, about 40 thousand people during the 4 days. Very cool and crazy. Jeez, even Mickey Rooney was there last year!

Im going to my first horror convention next month to meet Robert Englund, super excited! He's gonna be in full freddy gear :)

I don't really want to hang out with half naked women or nerdy boys. I've already done comic conventions and electronic gaming shows, and I can only imagine it's the same crowd, only bloodier.
