what exactly is the aryan race?

i know this is a weried question too but my father has a co worker who is south african and made anti jewish remarks and also i read the book night it got me to thinking and kind of scared me with such graphic details but just wondered what hitlers insane perfect race really was. if hitler was alive today he should be torrured ten times worse than saddam.

Actually the origins of the term AYRAN can be traced back to a translation of what an ancient nomadic and pastoral people who lived north of ancient India. In c 1,300 B.C. these people moved down and conquered the Indus civilizations including MOHENDOJERO and HARAPPA. For centuries they lived in tents in the streets rather than in the fine buildings that were left. Eventually they formed civilized kingdoms of their own.
These people called themselves what was translated in the nineteenth century as AYRAN - which means THE BEST.
Some philosophers of the nineteenth century adopted this term and applied it to basically Indo-European peoples. Then some philosophers asserted that the Indo- Europeans were superior to all others(especially the Ayrans who were Germanic and Nordic)
It was simply an adaptation for convenience.

Actually, the one that show it's stupidy standing out, is the case of the Gypsies in the Third Reich. Being from Northern India, the so called original area of the Ayrans, the Gypsie had racial credentals that were impeccible. However, Hitler didn't like them and declared that allthough they WERE Ayrans, they were a race of criminals, petty thieves, vagabonds and wonderers. They were therfore put with the rest.

Which show the stupidity of the whole damm philosophy. They cannot even keep to their own rules. When they speak of the Aryan and then turn round and treat Aryans(like the Gypsies) who have impeccible racial and Ayran credentals, we cannot take the nazis' indea seriously. Due to their lack of logic even within their ideology and their contradictory behavior accordingly- WE DO NOT HEAR THEIR WORDS. Hope this helps.

Hitler's version of Aryanism probably came from a German publication called Ostara where another insane man also by the name of Adolph wrote what was virtually a mythology about the origin of race called Theozoology. Pure aryans no longer exist, according to him, because they mixed with other races. The blonde haired, blue eyed people are the closest to pure Aryan, and the Germanic people with brown hair/eyes are the second closest which explains why Hitler still considered himself Aryan. Jewish people are supposed to be the least aryan which was why he hated them (at least in part). Hitler wrote to Ostara and met the guy who developed theozoology, and he, not Hitler, was the first the use the swastika and a symbol of Aryanism.

It claims that there once existed a race that lived somewhere in the Ural mountains region from wich european races decended. The Aryans also settled the Indian subcontinent and influenced grately hindu religion and culture.

THe weird thing is, there are Aryans in INdia. I m from near New Delhi but I am suppossed to be an Aryan. It seems like Hitler copied the swatika from INdia, which is a hindu symbol which is widely seen in INdia.
I am not sure about this, but Aryans are nomads who travelled from Europe to India and around other places of the world.

A couple of centuries ago, some German Anthropologists "defined" Aryan race. This makes that Aryan race is a relative new "invention" to create national and beyond national pride of certain people and unite against others!
