Many keyboards have a LED light on the right that indicates whether CAPSLOCK is on. Some word processing programs show a small CAPS in the status bar (the grey bar on the bottom of the window).

Start typing and see. There is also usually a light on the keyboard (top left) for the caps key. Press the caps key repeatedly and you should see it flashing.
In word I think there is something in the bottom of the window too that will tell you if you have capslock on. Again press the caps key repeatedly and you should see it changing

windows itself does not display the caps lock on the screen. some of the applications do like microsoft word, etc. windows does tell you if you try to login with the caps on. I know there are a few downloadable programs that will provide the status on the screen somewhere...

Just have a look on your keyboard at the little green light on the right, a square with a Capital A. If the light's on the lock's on.

It depends what application you have open. For instance, Excel has a CAPS indicator, but Word doesn't. Check the indicator light on your keyboard.
